My fee is based upon the services to be provided. Income tax return preparation is a compliance activity. Specifically, income tax preparation is based upon the forms required to complete your tax returns. Tax planning is not based on an hourly rate but upon the value I offer you through my acquired experience and knowledge.

For all new clients my first step is to get to know you and how I can help. I offer a free review of your past 3 individual and/or business tax returns. I do this because I find that as many as 1 in 3 can recoup income taxes they have overpaid due to errors and oversights. I aggressively review your past returns to find any opportunities to recoup any over payments. I will review up to 3 years because 3 years is as far back as the statute of limitation allows. I then use the information I found during my review to offer what I call a Discovering Session. The goal of the Discovery Session is to determine if we can put together a specific tax plan to minimize the unnecessary taxes you have been paying.
